Lazy Days Cruise

The Lazy Days cruise this year will be an on the water and on the land event on Saturday, August 10. Similar to last year, the plan is to sail around on the Neuse during the day and meet for a social/party at Sea Harbour Yacht Club.

The plan is the following:

• At 10:00 boats should meet on the Neuse somewhere between Oriental “1SC” and Garbacon “G7”.  Depending on the wind we can sail up and down the Neuse or back and forth.
• The idea is to just get out and sail and have some fun – AND – to take pictures of each other’s boats.  We’ll share them on the NSA website and the Facebook Page for everyone’s enjoyment, and hopefully you’ll have one worth framing or for your PC/phone background.
• At 3:00 everyone should plan to arrive via car at Sea Harbour Yacht Club.  SHYC is located at 6020 Harbour Way in Oriental.  Harbour Way is off White Farm Road.
• NSA will provide beer, wine and water.  Everyone – please bring a dish to share.  The SHYC pool is available, so bring a bathing suit to enjoy.  Not all SHYC and NSA members will fit in the pool at once, so be courteous and let everyone cool off!  There is plenty of shade around the property and the clubhouse has AC.
• If you would like to grill something there are grills available as well.
