First, the name change. Everything about the event is basically the same, except that we are not cooking shrimp. It's going to be advertised to the public as a sailing mixer, with food and live entertainment.

Alysa Mike will be performing, and if you don't remember her from a couple of years ago, you won’t be disappointed. We will still be selling tickets for $10. Members attend for free and receive two drink tickets.

We will be replacing the shrimp with something catered or easily prepared (chicken wings, brisket, etc.).  I’m going to get creative here. The savings from the shrimp will cover entertainment and purchased food.

We will still need help with registration, but not cooking will free up our members to participate in the event. I want as many people as possible to circulate and talk to people. Less work, more fun is my motto. I'm going to ask members to arrive and check-in at one, ( there may be a shrimp snack), so that from 2-4 we’re focusing on guests. We are working on ideas on how to have more engagement with prospective members. I'd appreciate any ideas. I'll send out an email in March with more details. Let’s reach out to anyone you know who may be interested in learning about the NSA. This is a great way to show them who we are!
