Week-long Cruise << SOUTH>>

Looking for a southbound sailing adventure? June is often great weather for sailing and generally comfortable conditions at anchor.

Join some NSA friends as we head south on a weeklong adventure towards Wrightsville and Carolina Beaches!

Participating boats will rendezvous in Beaufort on Saturday, 6/22, meeting up with the weeklong north trip.

Depending on the conditions, some may wish to head south on the outside. Some may prefer the ICW. It will be an adventure either way.

We plan to stop in Wrightsville Beach for two nights. Masonboro Inlet has good anchorages (not too close to the bridge) and a marina option. There are also many good restaurants and beaches to explore.

A fun social is planned for 6/24. More information to follow!

Then, on 6/26, we will head to beautiful Carolina Beach. Here, you will want to secure a mooring ball with Dockwa, as anchor holding is sketchy.

On 6/28, we head back up north. Those wishing to go on the ICW can stop at Swansboro. Outsiders can anchor/dock at Masonboro inlet again.

6/29 - back to Oriental. Or take your time and head back 6/30.

• BYODC – Bring Your Own Dishes and Cups to events to cut back on trash and be environmentally friendly.
• RYOS – Reserve Your Own Slip – for cruises with Marinas.  VC of Cruising will send list to Marina, but you are responsible for calling and reserving slip with Marina.
• Make sure to fly your BURGEE during the Event!
