After spending the last few weeks trying to come up with the perfect destination for a July trip, we finally settled on Cape Lookout.  We are going to be back there for Labor Day, but can you have too much paradise? 

It's an easy destination for a two to three-day weekend, and since you don't need a reservation, come when you want. We can keep cool in the water during the day and hope for some summer breezes to cool us at night.

We’ll have a beach party social on Saturday at two, but you can probably find us hanging out on the beach pretty much all day.

We have a tradition of toasting the sunset on the beach side at the end of the day. If you haven't experienced it, the sunsets there are spectacular.

We usually have our social on the sound side close to the beach access path. Look for the NSA flag.
