Fall Cruise

NSA plans to head to West Bay for our Fall Cruise again this year. West Bay can be iffy for anchoring if the wind is not right, so we'll be flexible once again this year..jpg)
The beach on the southern shore of Pamlico Sound is very nice and the anchorage beautiful, unless the wind is out of the north, which makes it too rough. So, we'll hope for a South wind and moderate temps. We will gather on the beach, and if conditions are right we'll build a bonfire.
We normally anchor near 35°01.869'N 076°20.082'W. That is on the outside, or soundside, of West Bay. We typically anchor outside because of easier access to the beach.
