The plan is to head to Lookout Friday morning and return to Oriental Monday. Of course, every captain can make their own decisions on when they head out and when they return.
We're planning on having our social on the beach, near the crossover to the ocean, Saturday at 3pm. That should allow boats that come on Saturday plenty of time to arrive. The club is providing some adult beverages and we request that you dinghy over to Kindred Spirit to acquire any club beverages you may want.
Since Cape Lookout is remote, ice is at a premium and it would be difficult for us to chill enough drinks for all. I will have a small cooler with some cold drinks, but please go "Shopping" at Kindred Spirit for refreshments soon after your arrival ( if you want club provided beverages) and bring ice to chill those beverages
Robert Pugh and Tracy Vail are the proud owners of Kindred Spirit ( a beautiful Grand Banks with navy blue canvas, Tracy, correct me if I'm wrong).
I'm including coordinates of the area we usually anchor. It is not far from the Coast Guard mooring. There are boats heading out most of the days this week, with the majority departing Friday or Saturday.
