Memorial Day weekend on Ocracoke Island is an annual favorite of NSA members. Traditionally, we have 30 or more NSA boats on this cruise. After your first cruise to Ocracoke, you'll understand why. Known as the "Pearl of the Outer Banks," Ocracoke is a summer vacation haven that offers great restaurants, cool shops, friendly people, nightly entertainment and one of the best beaches in the U.S. 
We will have a limited number of slips reserved at The Anchorage Inn and Marina. To ensure the sign-up process is fair, we will activate a registration form on the website at 6 pm on Feb. 15, so mark your calendar. The available slips will be assigned first-come, first-served, based on when you go to the website and register. The cruise captains will provide the marina the list of boats and the dock master will call each member registered in order of registration until our slips are gone. You will be asked to pay a non-refundable deposit of one night's dockage.
As an alternative to The Anchorage Inn & Marina, you may prefer to anchor out in Silver Lake or use the reasonably priced National Park Service docks and facilities, which also operate on a first-come, first served basis.
We plan to have a social under the Gazebo on Saturday afternoon. As usual, NSA supplies wine and beer and everyone is asked to bring a dish or dessert to share.
